Application Essay

Now that you have received your invitation and your application, we would like to ask you to write an application essay that will be turned in with your application. This essay will be reviewed, along with you application, and it will help decide your acceptance into the club. Below is the prompt.

Prompt: Why do you deserve to be a member of Spanish National Honor Society? What will you contribute to the club?

Criteria:
(1) We would like to see you demonstrate your proficiency in the Spanish language. We expect to see your essay in Spanish. If you feel that writing in English would strengthen your application, that is also acceptable.
(2) Your essay must be 200 - 500 words.
(3) Your essay must be typed.

Deadline: September 8th, 2011 - No exceptions.

The Induction Ceremony will be September 21st .
